THIS spectacular Greg Norman-designed masterpiece presents itself as a feast for the eyes and the ultimate test of golf. Brookwater is the first championship calibre golf course to be built in the Brisbane environs in nearly 30 years and is ranked as the number 1 golf course in Queensland.
Designed by Greg Norman and Bob Harrison, the course has all the ingredients of a Norman design with full face bunkering featuring in a dynamic and dramatic layout.
The ambitious design weaves up and down rolling terrain encompassing two nine-hole loops and has an overall distance of 6,456 metres.
Featuring long, narrow fairways and challenging bunker locations which golfers of all levels can enjoy. Complementing the naturally undulating terrain, each hole features distinctive Australian bushland landscapes including natural water features, spectacular rock formations and stands of ghost gums.
Brookwater is nestled in one of the most beautiful pockets of natural bushland in Australia with 45% of Brookwater dedicated to open space - never to be built on.
The Isuzu QLD Open Championship was played at Brookwater in 2013 and 2014.
