1. About this service:
The Premium SMS number 199 GLINK (19945465) is provided for GOLF Link members to check their current handicap on ad-hoc basis or to subscribe to receive automatic updates as soon as clubs upload completed competitions. Contact Golf Link Customer Service for any questions: 1300 650 750 (8 AM - 8 PM AEST) or help@golflink.com.au.

2. How to use this service:
a. Subscription service (via mobile phone):

• Using any standard mobile phone, simply type in your message "SUBSCRIBE" and your 10 digit GOLF Link number, for example "SUBSCRIBE 2020101010" (Text is not case sensitive) and SMS it to 199 GLINK (19945465). Any SMS sent to GOLF Link will be charged at $1.25 per message (message sent is 25c, message received $1, inc. GST)
• GOLF Link will then send you an SMS with your adjusted handicap and the winning score from your latest competition round.
• You will continue to receive updates when any subsequent competition rounds are processed (one SMS update per unique competition day) until you unsubscribe.

b. Single service (via mobile phone):

• Using any standard mobile phone, simply type in your message your 10 digit GOLF Link number, for example "2020101010" and SMS it to 199 GLINK (19945465). Any SMS sent to GOLF Link will be charged at $1.25 per message (message sent is 25c, message received $1, inc. GST)
• GOLF Link will then send you an SMS with your adjusted handicap and the winning score from your latest competition round.

*Customers under the age of 18 must obtain the account holder’s permission
*Australian mobile numbers only accepted
*Golfer must have at least one (1) competition in the past 2 years

3. Service Costs:
a. Subscription service:

• The first 3x SMS Alerts you receive will be free of charge.
• When your free messages have been used, this Premium SMS service is charged at $1.00 per SMS update received (inc. GST). This will be charged to your mobile phone bill or pre-paid account.
• Any SMS sent to GOLF Link will be charged at 25c per message (message sent is 25c, message received is $1, inc. GST) including the subscribe and unsubscribe requests. This will be charged to your mobile phone bill or pre-paid account.
• The charge will appear on your mobile phone bill under GOLF Link or Oxygen8 Communications.

b. Single service:

• This Premium SMS service is charged at $1.25 per SMS update requested (message sent is 25c, message received $1, inc. GST). This will be charged to your mobile phone bill or pre-paid account.
• The charge will appear on your mobile phone bill under GOLF Link or Oxygen8 Communications.

c. Unsubscription:

• To unsubscribe simply text "stop" to 19945465.

4.Accuracy of Information:
All competition data is entered by the golf club golf club holding the competition and as such GOLF Link Partners cannot guarantee the accuracy of data. Any queries on the errors should be referred to the golf club who held the competition.

5. Premium SMS Service availability:
Your mobile plan must be able to accept a premium SMS service (most automatically do). If you are having difficulty subscribing to the service please check with your mobile phone provider.

8. Data Collection and Storage:
Whenever you use our Premium SMS service, we automatically record the mobile number the date and time of your message your message.
This information does not identify you personally. No attempt is made to identify you except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect our service provider's logs.
This information is stored in a secure area within GOLF Link Partners and only forwarded to appropriate staff so they can answer your questions. It will not be used for any other purpose without your consent.

9. Liability:
Use of the 199 GLINK SMS service is at your sole risk. If you rely on this service you are responsible for ensuring by independent verification the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of SMS message delivery.

General information is provided on the understanding that GOLF Link Partners does not accept liability for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a consequence of or in use, reference or reliance on this information shall be at the sole risk of that person who should seek the advice of their own legal representatives.

10. Mates free SMS process:
If you purchase a Mates package you may have opted in to receive a certain amount of free SMS Handicap Alerts. When these free SMS alerts run out you will be automatically unsubscribed from the service.
You will be notified by SMS and can change this by replying with a "yes" in the content of the SMS - you will then be subscribed to the service. This service costs $1.00 per SMS and is sent to you after each competition round you play in is uploaded to GOLF Link by your club.
