About the Race to Bonville
THE Race to Bonville is a unique opportunity for all amateur golfers to compete in a professional-style tour, complete with an amateur equivalent of the FedEx Cup end-of-season final.
Played over some of Australia’s finest courses, the Race Series offers all handicapped golfers a chance to compete on hard-to-access courses, all the while winning great prizes and meeting other likeminded, passionate golfers.
How does it work?
- Qualifying competitions are held on a state-by-state basis across Australia;
- Players earn points at each event and vie for position on their state’s order of merit;
- At the end of qualifying, the top 40 players plus ties, noted place getters based on grade, regional event winners and the order of merit champion, will qualify for the state final;
- The A, B and C grade winners from the state final, along with the best-placed female and the order of merit winner will qualify to represent their state at the national final in May 2014 at Bonville Golf Resort in NSW.

- For 2014/15 we have also opened some spots to golfers without an official handicap. Whilst not competing for the Race to Bonville or major placement prizes, social golfers can enjoy the rest of the event and win some prizes in their own division.
